About the Client

Ballard Power Systems Inc., headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, is a leading global provider of innovative clean energy solutions. They are the developer and manufacturer of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell products for markets such as heavy-duty motive (consisting of bus and tram applications), portable power, material handling as well as technology solutions including engineering services.

About the Project

Ballard has chosen Speridian as their technology partner to configure and integrate services for their After Sales service management platform leveraging the Oracle Service Cloud and Oracle Policy Automation solutions.

Following needs analysis and design workshops at Clients premises in Burnaby, BC, Speridian will be responsible for:

  • to replace Client’s existing implementation of ServiceMax for the After Sales division with an industry-leading Oracle Service Cloud/OPA solution
  • to enhance this solution with currently lacking Online Incident Submission and Warranty Validation functionality
  • to integrate the solution into Client’s current implementation of Oracle ERP, and
  • migrate existing data from the ServiceMax solution into Oracle Service Cloud to ensure   Client’s After Sales division will be fully operational using the new system

This Sales and Presales effort was led by Hanno Hesse, Sr. Director of Business Development and supported by our Canadian team including Amer Mubbusher and Khurram Rasheed.
